Job description

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with administration skills to join our growing business and gain hands-on experience in our customer operations team.

This is a temporary role which we envisage will be required until September 2025 as the business gets to grips with its new ERP system SAP.

Key Responsibilities:

*         Sending copies of despatch notes to Hallam Express / other hauliers as required

*         Providing customers with copy invoices and statements, or other documentation, as required

*         Completing customer-specific product set up (new line forms)

*         Creating & distributing COPs co-ordinators “to-do lists” via SAP

*         Processing simple claims from customers for damages & shortages

*         Providing customers with ETAs on their deliveries (over phone & via email)

*         Generating order confirmations & proformas for SE customers

*         Making amendments to orders via Pricecheck Portal

*         Ensuring customers’ official POs match orders entered on our system to prevent discrepancies / issues upon delivery

*         Informing trading team of deletions so stock can be made available for sale and sold elsewhere.

*         Following up with customers to request updates on overdue payments

What We’re Looking For

  • Organised & Detail-Oriented: Excellent organisational skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Computer literacy: Previous experience of using Microsoft packages.
