As a Junior BI Analyst, you will be instrumental in managing and leveraging the growing amounts of data within our systems. You’ll work closely with a team of data-focused professionals in our IT department, helping to provide actionable insights that enable the identification of trends, exploration of commercial opportunities, and informed decision-making to drive business growth. Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain SQL reports using SSRS.
• Administer databases and manage SQL queries.
• Develop stored procedures for reporting and bespoke software needs.
• Create and manage companywide dashboard tools using Power BI.
• Review and optimise existing SQL queries.
• Assist IT with testing and implementing new systems in the department.

Expectations

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of MS SQL and SSRS for report creation and database management, with some knowledge of Power BI or similar dashboard tools.
• Ability to work independently, prioritising tasks effectively and meeting deadlines under pressure.
• Proactive in learning new technologies and applying knowledge to innovate and improve processes within the team.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to approach problems creatively and resolve complex data-related issues.
