Graduate Sales Support - Linguist

This is a great entry-level role for graduates who are eager to get into sales whist utilising your language skills. You will gain hands-on experience in all aspects of the sales process, including relationship management, negotiation, and business development.
As part of your training, you will rotate across the sales floor, gaining exposure to various function within the team and covering different territories. This will provide a comprehensive understanding of the business before being paired with an International Account Manager. Together, you’ll open new business and develop existing accounts, helping to expand your joint territory.
You’ll play a key role in matching our ever-changing product list to customers’ needs, finding the right products at the best prices.
As a natural multi-tasker, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities while honing your skills. You’ll relish challenges, embrace learning opportunities, and make an impact with your own personal touch.
What you will be doing
- Supporting your International Account Manager with daily account management tasks, using your organisational skills to optimise efficiency.
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships across a wide range of accounts.
- Identifying and securing new business by adapting to our dynamic product range and aligning customers with the right solutions.
- Conducting proactive market and customer research to inform your approach.
- Constantly striving to improve your commercial awareness and business understanding.
- Reporting regularly to the Senior Sales Support.
- Assisting in coordinating national and international travel for your International Account Manager.
- Tracking and achieving key performance indicators (KPIs), including meeting your telephone call targets.
Essential requirements
- Fluent/Proficient Language skills are essential, time abroad is a bonus! Key languages we are looking for are French and German however we are open to a range on language skills!
- A strong desire to start a career in FMCG sales, with a readiness to take on responsibility and perform under pressure.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, with a passion for the sales process.
- Motivated by achieving targets and the excitement of closing a sale.
- Commercially astute with excellent judgment.
- Able to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
- A confident and articulate communicator, both written and verbal.
- Methodical and detail-oriented, with a commitment to accuracy.
- Proactive, engaged, and always looking to learn.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
