Job description

An opportunity has arisen for a new team member to join our office support team as a full-time receptionist. Naturally a confident communicator, our receptionist will excel in a fast-moving environment and maintain a high level of professionalism when greeting employees and visitors both in person and over the phone.  

What you will be doing 

  You will be based on our Reception, working closely with the Senior Receptionist to support the Head of Operations in ensuring that employees and visitors on site are welcomed, calls are answered efficiently and dealt with professionally whilst supporting with any other ad hoc duties to support when required. 

 How you will do it 

  • Being the face and voice of Pricecheck, greeting visitors, managing our telephone switchboard and email account, building both internal and external relationships 
  • General office support duties such as: 
  • Working closely with the cleaners ensuring they have the necessary supplies to ensure the office is cleaned appropriately 
  • Maintaining staff facilities such as the replenishing meeting rooms and communal kitchens areas 
  • Managing incoming and outgoing post 
  • Monitoring stationery and keeping on top of orders 
  • Supporting the Office Services Manager with booking duties as and when required 
  • General administration, such as data inputting, scanning, and photocopying 
  • Ad-hoc tasks as and when necessary to meet business need. 

 Essential requirements 

  • Confident communicator (written and verbal) with a polite yet tenacious telephone manner with the ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues and customers. 
  • Previous experience in a similar role working within a busy office environment. 
  • Demonstrates adaptability – willing to learn and support where required. 
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities 
  • Ability to operate at pace under pressure, whilst not sacrificing quality and accuracy. 
  • Good time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines. 
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Microsoft Dynamics
