This is an internal vacancy for those already employed at Pricecheck for a minimum of 6 months. 

Shift Pattern - Nights, Monday - Thursday 7:00pm - 5:30am

The role as Warehouse Operative and as such Team Leaders, is hugely variable with fluency across warehouse departments, you can be placed across any of the multiple operational areas. As Team Leader, your role includes a lot of variety! Working closely with the warehouse management team, you directly support both permanent and agency warehouse operatives ensuring they have sufficient training and support to perform to the expected standards whilst always maintaining awareness of health and safety and safe operating procedures. Usually allocated to an area of the warehouse, you will guide the day-to-day operations of the area, ensuring any problems are troubleshooted and escalated as necessary.

Duties

• Oversee operations within given working area of each day; ensuring work efficiencies and priorities are being met. Escalating to relevant Supervisor where support is required.
• Supporting the management team in providing feedback for probationary reviews, appraisals and in general
• Onboarding and organising training new agency staff as needed, ensuring completion of the new starter manual and their understanding of the Warehouse Operations Manual
• Maintaining health and safety at all times, ensuring operations are running to the required safety standards, and any accidents are documented and escalated as per standard procedure
• Acting as a role model; following company policies and procedures,
• Escalating any risks/ hazards or other employee/ individual concerns as necessary
• Holding return to work interviews following employees’ period of absence from work
• Trained First Aider
• Ad-hoc tasks as required to support the need of the team and wider company
