As a Communications Executive, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing Pricecheck’s communication strategies. Working alongside the Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders, managing internal and external communications, and implementing initiatives to enhance the visibility and reputation of our brand.

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Communication Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive communication plan aligned with the company's objectives and target audience. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and effectiveness in messaging.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including clients, industry influencers, and media outlets. Acting as a primary point of contact for communication inquiries and initiatives.
  • Content Development: Create high-quality content tailored to target audiences, including press releases, case studies, social media posts, award entries and presentations. Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and effectively communicates key messages.
  • Media Relations: Proactively identify and secure opportunities for media coverage within relevant publications and platforms. Develop and maintain media lists, pitch stories, and coordinate interviews to maximise visibility and positive exposure. Utilise string internal relationships to build information and stories.
  • Internal Communication: Facilitate effective communication within the organisation. Develop internal communication materials such as newsletters, intranet content, and company updates. Proactively seek ways to enhance and develop our offering, ensuring brand governance, inclusivity and demonstrating an awareness of employee engagement.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies. Conduct market research and gather insights to inform strategic decision-making and messaging.
  • Brand Awareness Building: Build and implement strategies to enhance brand visibility and recognition. Identify relevant channels and platforms to showcase the company's culture, values, and career opportunities, this includes management of the company’s Career social channels and supporting HR with all career related events. Leverage content marketing, social media, thought leadership, and employer branding initiatives to strengthen the company's reputation as an employer of choice.
  • Conferences and Events: Identify relevant conferences, trade shows, and industry events where the company can participate or speak as subject matter experts. Source speaking opportunities for company representatives, coordinate event logistics, and ensure maximum visibility and impact at each event.
  • Community and Charity: Work alongside HR to implement the brand’s CSR initiatives by coordinating internal and external charity, community and social events. Oversee company charity donations, making reasonable assessments on requests and tracking budgets.
  • Boost Director Awareness: Implement initiatives to raise awareness of key directors and executives within the organisation, positioning them as thought leaders and industry experts. Oversee the management of director social media accounts, taking time to learn and adapt tone of voice.

Requirements

  • At least 3 or more years experience within a Marketing role.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas clearly, concisely, and persuasively. Confidently contributes to and controls conversations with stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail: Pays meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of communication, ensuring accuracy and consistency in messaging, branding, and content quality. Showcases ability to proofread one’s own work and that of others.
  • Creativity: A creative mindset for developing innovative communication strategies and producing engaging content that captures attention. Confident in ‘selling’ these ideas internally or externally.
  • Relationship Building: Building and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, and the ability to establish trust and credibility. Becoming the go-to contact for all things communication. Demonstrates the ability to influence stakeholders for the benefit of the company.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Able to identify issues, analyse complex situations, and develop practical solutions to overcoming obstacles and achieving objectives.
